Code of Conduct

Short, plain, and the heart of how we treat one another.

Version 2026-06-26

1. Respect our Catholic character

You don't have to be Catholic, and you won't be quizzed. We do ask everyone to honor the group's Catholic character — in how we pray together, what we teach, and the spirit of charity we keep. Please don't use co-op gatherings to argue against the faith or to proselytize for another.

2. Charity first

Treat every person — child and adult — with kindness, patience, and respect. Disagree gently. Assume good faith. Gossip, contempt, and cruelty have no place here.

3. Protect the children

Every adult upholds our child-protection norms: background checks where required, two-adult / no-isolation practices, and immediate reporting of any safety concern. A child's safety always outranks an adult's convenience or reputation.

4. Parents are responsible

Parents supervise their own children, model the conduct we expect, and stay involved. This community runs on shared effort.

5. Honesty and safety

Be truthful in what you share with the group. Don't bring anything dangerous, illegal, or disruptive into our gatherings. Follow the reasonable instructions of organizers at events.

6. Keep confidences

Treat other families' personal information with care. Don't share contact details, photos of other people's children, or private circumstances without permission.

If something goes wrong

Tell an organizer. We'll listen, take it seriously, and act. The group may decline or remove anyone whose conduct endangers others or repeatedly violates this code.
